Amaris is a Patient Resource Specialist and Case Manager at Covenant, where she plays a vital role in identifying and recruiting patients for clinical trials. She coordinates referrals and clinic appointments while ensuring smooth communication between off-site providers and the clinical team. Amaris supports patients by addressing their concerns, facilitating medical records requests, and helping them navigate the research process with care and clarity.

Originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut, and raised in Puerto Rico, Amaris is fluent in both Spanish and English. She became a certified pharmacy technician in 2011 and spent nine years working in both community and hospital pharmacies. After moving to Florida, she gained valuable skills as a Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Customer Associate, developing a strong foundation in medication knowledge, patient education, safety, and communication. These experiences help her support patients effectively and collaborate seamlessly with clinical teams.

Amaris began her journey at Covenant as a Patient Resource Specialist and later expanded her responsibilities to include case management. She is currently working on strengthening her knowledge of clinical research processes and data analysis to grow in her role. She's motivated each day by the opportunity to connect patients with new treatment options and contribute to research that improves lives. Being part of a team that's making a real difference in people's health is incredibly rewarding to her.

Outside of work, Amaris is on a mission to become a true "plant lady" (though her plants might disagree). She enjoys any craft project involving painting and is currently taking a course to become a consecutive and simultaneous interpreter. Additionally, Amaris is a licensed esthetician who loves exploring skincare and beauty trends, helping others feel confident and glowing in their skin.
