Elaine Eby, B.S.

Clinical Research Coordinator

Elaine is a Clinical Research Coordinator who serves as the primary point of contact for patients participating in her studies. She partners closely with both patients and providers to gather high-quality evidence that supports the development of new treatments across a range of disease states. With a strong focus on patient care and study accuracy, she plays a vital role in advancing the success of clinical trials at Covenant.

Elaine holds a B.S. in Animal Science with a concentration in Physiology and Genetics from the University of California, Davis. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, and raised around the world as a military child, she developed a global perspective early in life. Before joining Covenant, she began her career conducting upstream cardiovascular research at a University of California teaching hospital, then transitioned to pharmaceutical work within the cardiovascular industry, and later moved into early development and clinical research.

Her motivation stems from a passion for bringing cutting-edge solutions to patients facing diseases with limited or no existing options. She is currently focused on growing the study pipeline into new therapeutic indications, expanding the reach and impact of Covenant's research efforts.

Outside of work, Elaine is a devoted animal lover who has cared for a variety of exotic animals on her hobby farm. She also speaks a little Portuguese and Japanese, reflecting her curiosity and openness to new experiences.
