Ivan was born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States at the age of six. He's lived in Southwest Florida ever since. Ivan holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida. His native language is Ukrainian, and he is also fluent in Russian.

Ivan began his career in healthcare and public accounting, starting as an intern at Blake Medical Hospital (HCA) before moving on to their centralized accounting office in Largo. There, he managed financials for five different hospitals along Florida's west coast. He later transitioned into the audit department of a boutique CPA firm in St. Petersburg, where he completed audit engagements for clients in industries like low-income housing investment funds and car dealerships. These experiences built the strong technical and analytical foundation that he now brings to Covenant.

As Controller, Ivan oversees the day-to-day operations of Covenant's accounting and finance department, including company-wide revenues, expenses, clinical study financials, contracts, and budgets. He originally joined the company as a Financial Analyst and now aims to build the accounting department from the ground up – with a focus on quality, integrity, and long-term infrastructure. Ivan is motivated by the collaborative team environment at Covenant and is proud to contribute to its mission and growth.

Outside of work, Ivan was originally a music performance major before transitioning into accounting, and he still enjoys playing the drums. He's also a first-generation college graduate and dreams of traveling to outer space one day.
