Jaliel King is a Research Assistant/Lab Technician at Covenant, where he supports the research team by playing a vital role in patient data collection and the behind-the-scenes workflows that keep clinical trials running smoothly. His work helps ensure high-quality data and efficient site operations, contributing to Covenant's mission of advancing care through research.

Originally born in North Carolina and raised in Jamaica before moving to Florida in 2012. Jaliel has since then received a B.A in Sociology from Davidson College and holds a CNA license and is currently CPR/AED certified! Passionate about the role research plays in improving patient outcomes, Jaliel finds fulfillment in contributing to studies that help advance healthcare. He is currently applying to medical school with the goal of becoming a physician and continuing to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Outside of work, Jaliel enjoys practicing mixed martial arts (MMA), with Brazilian jiu-jitsu being one of the disciplines he has pursued over the past three years. He also speaks Jamaican Patois and is currently learning Japanese!
