Jocelyn Sanchez, B.S.

Quality Control Coordinator

Jocelyn is a Quality Control Coordinator at Covenant, where she ensures that clinical trial documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant. Her responsibilities include conducting routine and non-routine quality control reviews for subjects at all stages of participation, reviewing informed consent forms, identifying trends across documentation, and helping improve processes that support trial integrity.

Born and raised in Naples, Florida, Jocelyn holds a B.S. in Biology from Florida International University and is CPR/AED certified. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Before joining Covenant, she worked as a medical scribe in an emergency department and spent over three years in pain management as both a medical scribe and medical assistant. She then transitioned into clinical research, where she coordinated cardiovascular trials and supported a clinical research associate (CRA) team focused on biomedical orthopedic devices.

Jocelyn is driven by her interest in medicine and the opportunity to contribute to research that helps improve patient care––especially for those with liver disease. She enjoys learning new things every day and values being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

A fun fact about Jocelyn: she's a twin and was born prematurely at just 27 weeks. She is currently studying for the MCAT and applying to both medical school and a master's program in biomedical sciences, with the ultimate goal of becoming an emergency medicine physician.
