Joseph Scaravalle
Research Assistant
Joseph supports Covenant's research operations as a Research Assistant, where he plays a vital role in patient data collection and the behind-the-scenes workflows that keep clinical trials running smoothly. His work helps ensure high-quality data and efficient site operations, contributing to Covenant's mission of advancing care through research.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Joseph holds a B.S. in Biology from Florida Gulf Coast University. Before joining Covenant, he worked as an emergency room scribe––a role that exposed him to a wide range of illnesses and disorders while deepening his understanding of hospital operations and physician collaboration. That experience sparked a deeper interest in medicine and clinical care, ultimately leading him to pursue clinical research.
Joseph is currently applying to medical school, with aspirations to continue working in the treatment of metabolic disorders. He's especially motivated by the potential of combining clinical trials with holistic approaches to improve patient quality of life and long-term outcomes.
Outside of the clinic, Joseph brings that same passion for health and science to his personal life. He designed and created his own pre-workout supplement brand based on current scientific literature, and is preparing to compete in his first bodybuilding show next spring.
