Lily is a Research Assistant at Covenant, where her day-to-day can shift from coordinating with a clinical research coordinator to reporting to an investigator during a liver clinic consult – all within the same hour. Lily brings a strong foundation in healthcare and patient interaction, and she's quickly gaining knowledge and confidence in both research and clinical care.

Originally from Bradenton, Florida, Lily earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Pre-Clinical) from the University of Central Florida and completed a Graduate Certificate in Anatomical Sciences from UCF as well. She is BLS (CPR/AED) certified and has a wide range of hands-on experience – from working night shifts on a Neuro-Trauma unit as a nursing assistant, where she cared for seven or more patients at a time, to sleeping overnight at the hospital as part of the emergency response team during two hurricanes. She also worked as a standardized patient at LECOM Bradenton, where she learned the power of empathy and thoughtful communication in clinical care – skills she brings to every visit at Covenant.

Lily is currently applying to physician assistant programs and is motivated by the opportunity to grow with every patient interaction. Whether learning about new medications, rare conditions, or improving her FibroScan technique, she shows up each day with a mindset of progress – drawing from her past experience while preparing for a future as a PA. Every encounter helps her sharpen her skills for the patients she serves now and those she will serve in the future.

Outside of work, Lily is passionate about anatomy, learning, and education. In undergrad, she was a double minor, a tutor in three subjects, and even worked as an intramural referee. During her graduate program, she spent a year studying and TA'ing in a cadaver lab – an experience that deepened her appreciation for the human body and her future in medicine. (And yes – she has held a human liver!)
