Melissa is Covenant's Regulatory Manager, where she ensures all clinical documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready. Her work behind the scenes supports Covenant's clinical teams by streamlining access to the materials they need, making trial execution smoother and more efficient across the board.

Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science from McNeese State University in 2003. Her background includes undergraduate research in psychiatry and over 20 years of post-graduate experience in regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Covenant, she worked extensively in pharmaceutical clinical research, where she deepened her expertise in documentation, writing, and compliance––skills that now serve as the backbone of her role in ensuring regulatory excellence.

Melissa is working toward a formal regulatory certification to further advance her professional development. She's motivated by being part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that genuinely cares about its patients. She believes Covenant's success stems from this shared sense of purpose and commitment to improving lives through clinical research.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys art journaling, visiting museums, going to concerts, and collecting vinyl records.
