Melody serves as Covenant’s Liver Clinic Specialist and Research Assistant, where she supports clinical research and patient care by assessing patient eligibility for clinical trials, maintaining accurate data entry and medical documentation, and assisting with study visits. She is passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives and values being part of a compassionate, forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing medical research and improving patient outcomes! 

Born and raised in Port Charlotte, Florida, Melody holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Before joining Covenant, she worked as a clinical research assistant, which deepened her understanding of research methodologies and strengthened her ability to connect meaningfully with patients. Since joining Covenant. Mel has worked her way up from the front desk to her current position as Liver-clinic Specialist/Research Assistant! She is currently preparing to apply to master's and PhD programs in clinical psychology, driven by a commitment to advancing mental health care. 

Outside of work, Melody loves spending time with family—especially visiting her relatives in Turkey, where she spent summers growing up. Her global perspective, attention to detail, and warmth make her a valued presence at the front lines of Covenant's care.
