Stephanie Oliveros-Diaz, B.S.

Research Assistant

Stephanie is a Research Assistant at Covenant, where she supports clinical trials by coordinating patient visits, managing data collection and entry, and ensuring each participant has a positive and informed experience. Her commitment to both precision and compassion helps maintain the integrity of each study while fostering trust and comfort with patients.

Born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida, Stephanie is bilingual – her family is from Colombia, and she grew up speaking Spanish. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami (Go Canes!). Before joining Covenant, she worked as a research assistant at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, where she contributed to spinal cord injury therapeutic development through data entry, behavioral analysis, and assay optimization. That pre-clinical experience gave her a strong foundation in research that she continues to build on in her current role.

Stephanie plans to apply to medical school, where she hopes to carry forward her passion for research and clinical care. She is motivated by the opportunity to make a real impact in people's lives through individualized treatment, compassion, and education.

Outside of work, Stephanie is passionate about community service – she volunteers as a child life assistant at Golisano Children's Hospital and serves as a food distributor and packager at the Harry Chapin Food Bank. She's a lover of Star Wars, plants, goats, dreams of visiting all seven wonders of the world, and hopes to one day own a small farm (just hold the frogs – they terrify her!).
