Sydney Learn, B.S.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Sydney is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Covenant, where she oversees patient visits and ensures each study is carried out with precision and care. Her role includes monitoring patient health throughout the trial process and collaborating with providers to ensure that participants receive optimal medical attention. She began at Covenant as a Research Assistant before stepping into the CRC position after gaining hands-on clinical experience.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Sydney earned her B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida. Before entering research, she worked in physical therapy and on the pediatric unit at Tampa General Hospital. These early roles, combined with her academic background, gave her a strong foundation in human biology and anatomy –– enabling her to clearly explain symptoms and drug interactions to patients.
Sydney is eager to keep expanding her knowledge of trials and medications as she continues to grow within Covenant. She finds consistent motivation in watching patients improve over time, and is driven by the impact clinical research can have on their health outcomes.
When she's not at work, you can find Sydney caring for her collection of 10 different types of plants –– a fun hobby that brings a little extra life into her home.
